This video is part of the Environmental Justice MOOC (free online course) of the University of East Anglia: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/environmental-justice/

In this video Brendan Coolsaet introduces global biodiversity in relation to environmental justice.

He explains that biodiversity is unequally distributed across the globe, a natural product of geography. He then goes on to show that since colonial times, humans have often exploited biodiversity in inequitable ways, some of which continue today.
